The Quality Leadership Profile is a confidential leadership survey designed for use in the education/knowledge sector. The survey enables leaders (referred to as "self" in the survey) to seek feedback on their leadership strengths and development needs.
The QLP employs a "360 degree" survey method which compares self-perceptions of leadership practices with the perceptions of peers, staff and supervisors. This method delivers a wide array of information from a range of stakeholders, and provides a firm basis for individual leadership development.
The QLP was developed at the Queensland University of Technology, and is based on over six years of research into leadership and management within higher education. The survey is currently in its third generation, and is now available for use in education/knowledge organisations.
